Burt brings extensive experience in corporate finance, direct lending, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, retail finance as well as equipment finance/leasing, having previously served as a consultant to boutique investment banks in placing debt and equity and as an advisor to financial institutions/asset managers and banks in starting new business initiatives. He is Managing Director and Head of Asset Based Lending and Fund/Lender Finance at Apple Bank focused on bank market lending. He served as Managing Director and Group Head of CIT Commercial & Industrial and held various management positions at FINOVA Capital Corp.
Burt holds an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern Business School and a BA from Binghamton University. He serves on the Board of Assistance to Lithuanian Jews, an organization that was started by Lithuanian Holocaust survivors after World War II.
